Okay, this is for Piano lovers only. (And some Uematsu-ian work fans) Well, I say this because not everybody will like this album. Not everyone likes listening to an hour of piano. (Maybe except when it is a FF Piano Collection...) But, I like this album, I think it's great work. When you want to listen to something calm and fun, this is what you need. Unfortunately, this CD is rare and if you find it, you won't be able to pay his price. So let's start the review:

Terra:
His theme sounds like an afternoon soap theme, it really does! I won't say the title but some will recognize it. But it's gooooood.

Gau:
I never liked his theme so I don't like it even with this arrangement.

Kefka:
Here's some good work. The song sounds like a rag and really represents Kefka as a weird guy. I really like this one. Good arrangement.

Spinach Rag:
This is the music you hear at the auction house in Jidoor. Sounds like music of an old black and white movie. It's fun listening to it. Just think of your characters trying to win the 1/32 airship...or the talking Chocobo...

Strago:
You won't recognize the theme at the beginning. It takes some time, before you recognize the theme. This song is so-so, the beginning is good, it makes an energetic tart but, the rest is soft.

The Mystic Forest:
Okay, you want to hear something slow and soft, this is the song. When you want to relax, this is the one. It's one of my favorites. Basically, it's the same as the original only this time, it’s played by a piano.

Kids run through the city corner:
I HATE town themes. This is the theme from South Figaro and some other towns. If you liked this song, the arrangement won't deceive you though, because it's basically the same thing.

Johnny C Bad:
You want some dance? This is the one. It's the song from the Colosseum, imagine on piano. It's great! In a rock and roll style. Man, I don't get bored by this one! Da dadada da dam...da dadada da dam...

The mystery train:
This one is the same as the original. I liked more the arrangement he did on Grand Finale. I usually skip this one because it seems to me like the song will never end.

The Decisive Battle:
Oh my God! Remember when you saw Whelk for the first time? And then you heard the boss theme. Well it was good, this arrangement is as good as the original. In fact, I would have put this one instead. Sure, maybe it becomes soft at a certain moment, but still, it's good.

Coin Song:
The theme of the Figaro brothers, only slower and played by a piano. It represents well the affection the two brothers have. And since I like Edgar's theme, I like this one. But, I usually listen to it only once and sometimes I don't listen this one to the end. So my verdict is: some days it's good and some others no.

Celes:
Celes theme is one of the best themes of all the Final Fantasy. This arrangement is good and keeps the same song as the original. Good song in general.

Waltz de Chocobo:
This is the theme of Chocobo in a waltz style. But I think the "waltz" is not a good style for a Chocobo song. Well not this one. A Chocobo song is supposed to be more energetic and funny, not boring and too soft. Maybe another waltz arrangement could be good but this one is definitely bad.

OVERALL:
Except for the few exceptions, the album is a great album. Unfortunately like I said, it has become very rare and the cost for this baby is around 300$. I had to pay less than that for mine but it was not the regular price. (Which is around 20-30$) If you find a copy of this keep it, it's great work and a great album. But only if you like piano arrangements.
