Vandal Hearts 2

You start off on top of a mill in this game trying to catch a butterfly and end up falling off of the mill. This then leads into entering your name when you are prompted to do so and upset a girl because you were playing a joke on her about having amnesia.

Later on in the game you get deeply involved destroying a cult called the Kudor Cult which is run by one man bent on destroying the world. You end up traveling around attacking/raiding the west and east enemy bases, while doing this the Kudor Cult attacks you and this is how your character get involved in destroying the Kudor Cult.

Gameplay:
This game has multiple options in which you can choose to get different endings. This game is also very unique because of the simultaneous battles that happen (this means when you move, the enemy moves with you) making it very hard to destroy several enemies fast, some battles may even take up to 20 minute or more. Weapons skills will become very handy in this game seeing that you learn then from the weapon and can transfer then to another weapon in the same category and add up to the weapons max for skills. Magic also exist in this game, but as in Final Fantasy Tactics Magic has a range.

Storyline:
The storyline is not the best in this game seeing as it can get very boring quick because of the length of some of the chat between characters. An upside is that there are multiple endings and they are all okay, but I think I personally got the rotten one. You can also get a special ending if you manage to collect one of each weapon to get the weapons master ending.

Music:
All I have to say is that the music gets boring quickly in battles when it's playing repeatedly for over 10 minutes. I don't believe there are many musical scores in this game, maybe a good 8-10 of them but not to many making the music somewhat limited. The sound effects are pretty good but could be a bit better.

Playability:
Not the best. This is not for beginners to play, it was a poor conquest of an idea to make this game, it become boring and only takes 18+ hours to beat and that mostly being battle time because they can really stretch out and get lengthy. I can't see people play this game maybe more then twice. I don't really recommend this game to new users in the RPG community, but more to seasoned vets looking for a challenge.
