• Your submission must be of your own creation. You can use official game art, CG images, etc. however the final result should be your own design.
• You will need to submit one or more work-in-progress images showing various stages of your creation. This helps us verify that it is yours. A simple screenshot or two of the site being created will do.
• No profanity or sexual images are permitted.
• You should have a theme for your design. You also need to create a name for your submission.
• The final product should have some relation to our site, either video games or game music.
• The site should be optimized for 1024x768 and most functions should work in the most popular browsers. We will test the site with a number of browsers and resolutions.
• Each person may submit up to three different designs.
• We welcome CSS and valid XHTML.
• We despise unnecessary tables (they are for table content and not for design!) and frames.
• A panel of (bribable) judges will select the submission that suits RPGN best. Their decision is final.

Preparing your work for submission.

Your submission will need to include a few seperate files.

First, a text file containing your name, a valid e-mail address so we can reach you, and the title of your submission (Be Creative!).

Second, your work-in-progress images (named something like progress1.png etc) showing various stages of creation.

Last of course, is your final product.

You will need to package all of your files into a .ZIP, .RAR or .TAR.GZ archive for transfer. We recommend GNU tar for this process.

When you have a finished archive file ready for submission, send an email to contest@rpgamers.net and notify us of your submission. We will then discuss how to transfer the file to us via email, FTP, or other methods. If you have available webspace that you can host the file until we can retrieve it, feel free to do so and send us the URL.
